EBIT rose 101% year on year, with the operating margin improving to 16% from 11.9% in the corresponding quarter last year. Management also highlighted that nearly 86% of total revenue now comes from AI led engineering, cloud and data services, reflecting the company's increasing focus on next generation technology offerings.
The Americas remained the company's largest revenue contributor, generating ₹3,417.8 crore during the quarter. The Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) business contributed ₹1,492.4 crore, while the Rest of the World segment generated ₹617.5 crore.

The company continued strengthening its artificial intelligence portfolio by launching several new AI focused platforms during the quarter. These included Coforge Nuuron, an AI operating system designed to industrialise enterprise AI adoption, along with the NEXA Agentic AI Platform for the insurance industry and Aeronova.AI, which supports airlines in transitioning towards order led retailing.
The Board also approved, in principle, the establishment of a new entity in China as part of its international expansion strategy. During the quarter, 12.67 million equity shares were allotted following the merger with Cigniti, further strengthening the combined organisation's global capabilities.
The Board declared an interim dividend of ₹4 per equity share, with August 3, 2026, fixed as the record date for determining eligible shareholders. The dividend is expected to be paid within 30 days from the date of declaration.
Apart from rewarding shareholders, the Board also approved the proposed reappointment of O P Bhatt as Independent Director and Chairperson for a second term beginning in May 2027, subject to shareholder approval.
The quarterly results included net exceptional expenses of ₹55 crore, primarily related to acquisition and integration costs associated with the Encora acquisition, cybersecurity related legal expenses and provisions against receivables from a bankrupt customer.
These expenses were partially offset by foreign exchange gains arising from the devaluation of the Bolivian currency. Despite these one time costs, the company delivered one of its strongest quarterly earnings performances in recent years.
The company's strong earnings demonstrate continued momentum in AI led engineering, cloud transformation and enterprise technology services. A record order book, improving margins and healthy international demand provide a solid foundation for future growth, although investors will continue monitoring execution of large deals, integration of acquisitions and sustainability of operating margins.
Expansion into new markets, continued innovation in artificial intelligence platforms and healthy order inflows are likely to remain the key growth drivers over the coming quarters.
