The board has approved a preferential issue worth ₹525.99 crore. The company will issue up to 10.78 lakh equity shares at ₹4,875 each.
The shares have a face value of ₹10. The proposed issue brings new institutional and investor participation into ASM Technologies.
The preferential allotment will include SBI Mutual Fund through various schemes, SBI Emergent India Fund, Derive Trading and Resorts Pvt Ltd and Asha Mukul Agrawal.
All four investors are non promoters. Derive Trading and Resorts is associated with Avenue Supermarts promoter Radhakishan Damani, while Asha Mukul Agrawal is linked to investor Mukul Agrawal.
After the issue, Derive Trading and Resorts will hold 0.65% in ASM Technologies and Asha Mukul Agrawal will hold 0.33%. Mukul Agrawal already held a 10.28% stake.
Promoter entities held 57.65% of ASM Technologies at the end of the June quarter. Public shareholders held the remaining 42.35%.
After the preferential issue, SBI Mutual Fund through its various schemes will hold 5.25%, while SBI Emergent India Fund will hold 0.65%. More than 27,000 retail shareholders held a combined 16.96% stake at the end of the June quarter.
ASM Technologies has delivered strong gains in 2026. The stock has risen around 200% in six months and nearly 40% in one month, according to the reported performance.
The company provides engineering services and product research and development solutions to global clients. It has development and support centres in India and overseas, with a presence across the US, Singapore, UK, Canada, Mexico and Japan.
