Synopsis
Gabriel India shares rose 14.24% to ₹1,474 ahead of its September 24 NDR, with Project Jupiter and new ADAS, braking and steering businesses in focus.

Gabriel India Limited shares jumped 14.24% to ₹1,474 on Tuesday, September 22, after touching an intraday high of ₹1,495. The sharp move came after the stock had fallen from its 52-week high of around ₹1,600 to nearly ₹1,290 in recent sessions.
The rally comes ahead of Gabriel India's September 24 Non-Deal Roadshow (NDR) in Mumbai, organised by Ambit Capital. The company will meet analysts and institutional investors during the event, with discussions limited to publicly available information.
One factor drawing attention is the upcoming investor interaction. Gabriel India informed the exchanges on September 21 that its officials will participate in the NDR on September 24 from 9:30 AM onwards.
The timing is notable because Gabriel has been undergoing a major business restructuring under Project Jupiter, which is expanding the company's presence beyond its traditional ride-control business.
The company has agreed to acquire a 28.99% stake in HL Mando Anand India for about ₹2,231 crore. The transaction includes around ₹1,881 crore through the issue of Gabriel India shares and about ₹350 crore in cash.
Gabriel has also agreed to acquire 30% less one share in HL Klemove India for about $98.4 million, giving it exposure to automotive electronics and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
Project Jupiter is part of the Anand Group's broader plan to consolidate its automotive businesses under Gabriel India.
The expanded portfolio is expected to include steering systems, braking systems, ADAS and automotive electronics, alongside Gabriel's existing businesses in ride control, driveline products, NVH solutions, sunroofs, fluids, lubricants and other automotive components.
CRISIL has described Gabriel as an increasingly important automotive platform for the Anand Group. It expects the restructuring to broaden the company's product and customer base and increase its presence in technology-intensive automotive segments.
Gabriel's June 2026 quarter also showed growth. Consolidated revenue from operations rose to ₹1,425.7 crore, compared with ₹1,234.4 crore in the same quarter a year earlier.
Consolidated profit after tax increased to ₹108.1 crore from ₹105.5 crore during the same period.
The company's recent business expansion therefore comes alongside continued growth in its existing operations.
The stock's technical setup had also improved before Tuesday's rally. On September 18, Gabriel India closed at around ₹1,322 after trading near the ₹1,280-₹1,300 zone during the previous sessions.
Technical analyst Jigar Patel had identified the ₹1,300-₹1,320 area as a demand zone that also coincided with the stock's 89-day exponential moving average on the hourly chart. A bullish divergence was also visible at the time.
Tuesday's sharp move has now taken the stock well above the ₹1,410 level that was previously identified as a near-term technical target.
The September 24 NDR will be closely watched for management commentary on Gabriel India's expanded business structure, the progress of Project Jupiter and the company's plans for integrating its newer automotive businesses.
Investors will also track revenue growth, margins, earnings contribution from the newly added businesses and the pace at which Gabriel expands into steering, braking, ADAS and automotive electronics.
