Synopsis
Suzlon has secured a 201.6 MW wind energy order from Waaree Forever Energies in Andhra Pradesh to install 64 wind turbines under its end-to-end EPC and DevCo model.

India's renewable energy sector received another boost after Suzlon Group secured a 201.6 MW wind power order from Waaree Forever Energies Private Limited (WFEPL), the Independent Power Producer (IPP) arm of Waaree Group. The project will become Waaree's first wind energy project in Andhra Pradesh, strengthening Suzlon's position in India's growing wind energy market while expanding Waaree's renewable energy portfolio beyond solar power.
The order also highlights the increasing demand for integrated renewable energy solutions in India. Suzlon will execute the project under its DevCo EPC model, providing everything from land acquisition and engineering to turbine installation, commissioning, and lifetime operations & maintenance (O&M). The partnership comes as India accelerates investments in wind and clean energy infrastructure to achieve its long-term renewable energy targets.

This order strengthens Suzlon's wind energy order book while showcasing the growing adoption of integrated DevCo EPC projects in India's renewable energy sector. As utilities and independent power producers increasingly seek complete project execution rather than standalone equipment supply, Suzlon's integrated business model is expected to benefit from rising demand.
The order strengthens Suzlon's renewable energy order book and marks Waaree's entry into utility-scale wind power in Andhra Pradesh.
The project has a total installed capacity of 201.6 MW using 64 wind turbines rated at 3.15 MW each.
