Omega Seiki Mobility Raises ₹50 Crore to Expand Its Commercial EV Business

Fresh investment activity continues to strengthen India's electric mobility ecosystem as investors increase their focus on companies developing sustainable transportation solutions for logistics and urban mobility. Rising demand for cleaner transportation, government support for EV adoption and the rapid expansion of e-commerce have created significant opportunities for manufacturers building vehicles for commercial applications.

The latest funding comes at a time when commercial electric vehicles are witnessing strong demand across logistics, cargo transportation and last-mile delivery. Fleet operators are increasingly shifting towards electric mobility to reduce operating costs, while manufacturers continue investing in new technologies, larger production capacities and wider distribution networks to capture the growing market opportunity.

Omega Seiki Mobility has secured ₹50 crore (approximately $5.42 million) in fresh funding to accelerate its expansion plans. The investment was backed by Securocorp Securities, Saket Agarwal, Sangeeta Pareekh and Vanshika Sharma and is expected to support the company's manufacturing expansion, product development and long-term growth strategy in India's rapidly growing commercial EV industry.

Fresh Capital to Drive Expansion

The newly raised capital will help Omega Seiki Mobility strengthen its presence in the commercial EV market by expanding operations, improving manufacturing capabilities and introducing new products for cargo and urban transportation. The funding is also expected to support technology development and help the company expand both domestic and international operations.

Founded by Uday Narang, the company has established itself as a specialist in commercial electric vehicles, manufacturing electric three-wheelers, small commercial trucks and refrigerated cargo vehicles designed for logistics, passenger mobility and e-commerce businesses. The latest investment strengthens its ability to scale production while meeting the rising demand for sustainable transport solutions.
